Internet problems
I believe history is in order: A long while ago year or two I had one router downstairs hardwired only, I had Idea to install wireless upstairs which also projects downstairs. So we can get on internet wirelessly on laptops. through the time my cisco wireless router took a dump. I purchased Net gear Wireless N 300. after a while (months) I purchased cisco E 3200, On net gear I used wep with 10 numbers. When I put cisco on line I also used same wep for it and same 10 numbers. Wired router took dump so I used netgear it lined right up. All was good until Daughter in law told next door neighbor pass code. Wanting to change #`s I could not access setup page. contacted cisco they helped me to page but router out of warranty. When I was on setup page it stated I may not be able to access internet if I continued. I selected WPA2 Personal and used different #`s. I am using netgear to contact you folks. I seem to have problem with cisco. Hard wired cannot connect to cisco but hardwired connects to Netgear.Cisco Hardwired windows 7 I go to control panel,Internet properties, connect to internet it asks for ISP Name and ISP password???not sure what it is asking

Hello Zonie I narrowed it down to cisco I used my laptop to plug cat5 into and I have internet . Just now came home with another Netgear all is working so far. My desk top was plugged into Cisco and I had no internet wired or wireless.
