TNT2 driver issue.
I have an FIC KA-6100 MB running a Celeron 400. I am currently using a TNT2 32mb AGP video card and am having driver problems. If I try to use any of the newer Detonator (5.xx) drivers, I cannot get the system to do any resolution higher than 640x480. When I try to set the resolution higher, it just goes right back to 640x480. And, no, I am not in vga mode and the adapter is listed correctly as Nvidia TNT2. My monitor is a Panasonic 1730e which is using the latest driver I can find. I have also updated the VIA agp drivers to their latest version with no help. If I drop back down to older TNT driver (3.xx) it works ok, but some games have a problem with those drivers. Any ideas?

this has to do with your bios configuration. go into bios and enable ESD this being disabled is not allowing you to change your video setting.

Is this the same thing as ESCD? If not, what is ESD?

Take a look at what your monitor driver is set as, if your just using default or standard plug and play, see if you can find the driver for your model monitor. I had that problem with the betas leading up to 5.22.
