I received this poll today. It's well done. However I suspect it's a clever fake. My results came up 100% match Jonh Kerry, 98% Edwards, then Clark, then Dean, on down the Democratic list. Dead last was Bush at 77%. Very convenient ranking I thought. Still I suppose it could be valid.
Take the poll if you have 10 minutes to spare and list your results, I'd like to see if they vary.
It told me Kerry 100% even though I difered from him on several things
Yep, pretty much the same thing, all the Democratic candidates at the top, and Bush at the bottom.
What gets me is how on one of the questions, one of the sections is Economy/Environment. Come on, those are two entirely different things! In a way, I can kind of see Crime/Education. There are a few links between those, but its still a bit of a reach.

I got pretty much the same results as Gollo.
Tried it a sesond time around, but left everything blank (unimportant or no opinion) and got all 6 Dems listed first (Dean heading the list), then Bush in 7th place, all at 100%.
Funny.
Why does it matter who gets more votes ??? It didn't matter in the last election.

I just watched my GF take the same poll. A few of her answers were the same but most differed, several were polar opposites. She also got a 100% match for Kerry (Bush at bottom, 73%).
From some of the above posts it seems you can get a match for Bush but from my knowledge of my answers and the different answers my GF used and both of us coming up 100% Kerry, it is apparent to me that this poll is at the very least skewed in Kerry's favor.

Scary that I'm more in line with Al Sharpton than G Dubbaya.

One question I have about the questionaire. It asks how important IS military service in your choice. What about if you joined the Coast Guard to get out of going to Viet Nam like Dub'ya did?
Why does that count as Military Service>:D

I remember people signing up for the Coast Guard left and right to get out of Viet Nam service. The argument that Dub'ya didn't flee to Canada is Bullsh*t. His daddy was a US senator at the time - it would have been too embarassing for him to flee and besides, George had a political future.
It was also his daddy that fixed him up with a job in the air wing of the Texas National Guard.
Asked what Texas needed with and Air Force in the National Guard, Dub'ya once answered

Rich kids who's daddys were US Senators avoided Vietnam by going into the Coast Guard, smart kids got college deferments. Poor kids got sent to VietNam.
At least Clinton got his deferrment on his own with his brains, and not because his daddy was a Senator....:D

And, I find it really hard to understand what you would kmow about VietNam...since I hardly know. I am older than you, and I JOINED the Air Force in 1975. Right at the end of the war!!! I though Bush was in the Air National Guard? I didn't know he was a Coastie? By the way during times of war and conflict the USCG is transferred from the DOT over to the DOD. There were plenty of Costies active in Viet Nam. My uncle was there in '68 & '69 providing close in ground support.

The fighters Dubya flew were for bomber interdiction. They would have had no use in Vietnam anyways. I serve in the Air National Guard. I joined in 1989 and I have never been active duty. I am proud of my service to my country and I serve with many good men and women who might take more than a little offense at some of the tone about serving in the Guard. The roots of the U.S. National Guard go all the way back to the Minutemen who fought for our country's birth. Member of the National Guard have fought and died in every war the U.S. has ever been in. Even when it wasn't technically a war (Viet Nam, Desert Storm-commonly called Gulf War btw, the recent liberation of Iraq) men and women of the U.S. National Guard have been involved in the conflict. There are more than a few people from my base who have been to Iraq in the past year. A close friend of mine, recently retired spent three months in Kuwait helping our forces prepare before the invasion began. At 59 he was the second oldest person in the U.S. Military in Kuwait at the time. He was called and he went and served. Please don't denigrate service in the Guard. Snipe away at Bush if you must but the graves marking the final resting places of members of the U.S. National Guard who fought and died in conflicts the world around deserve a bit more respect. Serving in the Guard is not draft dodging, neither is Coast Guard service for that matter. Even in peacetime men and women of the Coast Guard risk their lives saving stranded mariners and intercepting international drug runners and smugglers. Well now I've gone and got all worked up...Rant off
