Well,.. got the foundation laid out for the homepage. I logged on for like a minute earlier this evening to grab a screenshot for a logo I was working on,.. but technical difficulties denied me from finishing the job.
Anyway,.. the homepage has been built,.. now I just gotta move in some content. My sig has the link (however right now there's really nothing there except some placeholders, and a copy/paste of the first post info from this thread).
And yes I realize there are many characters that have been added and I will update the homepage to reflect that soon. Believe it or not that little tiny bit you see there took forever to do. The self-sacrifice in times of need, the strategies when taking on larger mobs, and yes - even the possibility of having to deal with team members who do not pull their own weight and just leech XP off the group by hanging back.
Even when her character dropped she learned something - that "dying" was no big deal and that XP debt could be quickly recovered.
She had a lot of fun, and I actually had to restrain myself from going ballistic a few times because she wasn't doing what I would have done, but that's OK. She's working out her style, still struggling with the keyboard commands a bit, but enjoying the ride for sure. The interaction with the other players was a big asset to her having fun last night. She was actually a bit nervous going in when I told her that a larger team was forming up and that she was going to be a part of it.
Heck, I'm even reaping some of benefits from the time you guys spent (almost entirely pro bono for some) with her on Protector. She now understands that having a set "end time" when teaming is rather difficult to implement, and that time flies fast when you're having fun apprehending villains. :D
Thanks for patiently showing her the ropes.
BTW, this is the only videogame she's ever played, apart from Arkanoid... :p

Hey bro, your idea is not all bad. Maybe we could just start up an entirely different SG though - so as to not confuse the groups and allow less experienced character and/or users to feel more comfortable.

As it stands, a few people have lower level characters (I also want to try another archetype) which have a harder time travelling with higher level charaters - so that might be one solution.

Here's an idea: You work you character from ground up to lvl 15ish. Once you hit 15 you quit the GoW SG and get invited to the 1337 SG. That way you have one SG for "getting your feet wet" and then the other one is for just plain kick azz. We could even have them on different servers. Maybe GoW could be on Protector and then the new one could be on like Justice or something. Anyway,.. just some thoughts to sling around.
Kind of like the Teen Titans or New Mutants? Phantoms of War could be the next step up. :thumbs:Quote:

Is there a way to go back after I picked a power? I hit finish by accident and took the WRONG power. I meant to scroll to the next power set... The power I took stinks, am I stuck or can I roll back???
Now about the other SG. OK. But I feel that it should be WD or well liked by all characters only. WD is auto and the others are a vote.
As for the thing with difficulty with lower levels interacting with higher levels, that's the way the game is. It's going to be tough on someone. I played all last night and didn't get XP one. I did it for the sake of the team and the lower level guys.
