Sounds good, let's go!
Shadow flipped the tent flap open and surveyed the scene.
On the floor, in the centre of the tent, a man lay dead from self inflicted gunshot wounds. In the corner of the tent was a small cot. A package of cigarettes and an empty whiskey bottle lay on the bedside table next to a kerosene lamp.
Shadow combed the tent for additional clues to the possible motive. Other than the articles mentioned, the only things Shadow found were a half dozen small circular wooden disks under the cot, the man's personal effects, and a variety of scrapbooks and news clippings.
Shadow found the last articles particulary strange since it was learned the suicide victim was completely illiterate.
What was the reason for the apparent suicide?
Answer value starts at 10.
1 point deducted for each clue given.
Clues can only be given in "yes" or "no" format, so ask for them wisely.
__________
The man was a partial cripple who worked for a circus.
He was known as the world's shortest living adult. Someone was cutting short pieces from the end of his walking cane. Consequently, he thought he was starting to grow and would eventually lose not only his notoriety but also his job.
Was the man a midget?Quote:

Shall I wrap them up in a gift package for you now?
Not quite, but I remember this one from Seinfield - I think that somebody was slowly cutting a little bit of the bed posts each day, or else the table, making the midget think he was getting taller which would ruin his career in the circus.. Being illiterate, he could not get any other job, so he killed himself.Quote:

8 points left.
I'll throw in also that your Seinfeld analogy was close.
Among his personal effects was a cane, which had been being shaved daily, making the midget think he was getting taller, so he killed himself?
There we go - that's enough for the remaining 8 pts.
500 is looking further and further away for me.Quote:

My motto has always been "no since wasting a sick day at home sick". If I'm sick, I go to work, I like to save my sick days for when I can actually do something while I'm off!Quote:

Booze...yeah that works, but if you really want to feel better I suggest sex. Nothing will take your mind off being sick better than a wild romp in the sack. So get up, leave the office and go home to your wife. :devil:Quote:

What does a baby physically have more of than an adult?
__________
Bones.
When a baby is born it has more bones than it will as an adult. On average, an adult human has 206 bones in their skeleton (the number can vary slightly from individual to individual), but a baby is born with approximately 270. The difference comes from a number of small bones that fuse together during growth. These include the bones in the skull and the spine. The sacrum (the bone at the base of the spine) consists of six bones which are separated at birth but fuse together into a solid structure in later years.
