Shadow watched in horror as the convertible sports car seemed to lose control. It crashed through the guard rail, causing the driver to be thrown out of the car and down a 50 metre cliff.
Shadow scrambled down the incline to the body. The bloodied driver was pronounced dead. About ten metres away the car lay on its side.
Shadow examined the car and immediately noticed several things; the buckle from the driver's seat belt was missing, the driver's seat was covered in fresh blood, and one of the four new tires was punctured by a large nail.
Shadow was certain the driver had not been killed in the car accident, but was already dead.

As the passenger had been thrown out of the car, there would have been little or no blood on the seat.

Vegas was nice. It felt good just to get out of the office. But wouldn't you know it, the second day there (meaning the first day to have some real fun after working) I got nasty sick. Sinus pressure, coughing, fever, all kinds of fun. So I was sick through the whole trip. But that didn't stop me from terrorizing the town. I just didn't tear it up quite like I normally would. I tell you two hours of sleep a night for three days is hard enough as it is, but being sick on top of it makes it miserable. But what was I to do? Stay in? Sleep? Hell no! So I lost my a$$ at the craps table instead. :sad: I was down there running a vendor booth for a conference yet we had other people taking US out to dinner each night! Guess they like our software. :thumbs: All in all it wasn't bad. Didn't get to catch any shows. No stip clubs. No wild nights dancing. No 24 hour intoxication. :drink: So basically, none of the usual. If I find the little ba$tard on the plane that got me sick... :guns: Oh well, the CEO is talking about taking me to Dallas next month for another conference with him. Maybe I can make up for it then. But then again, it's just not Vegas. :devil:
