This may be my only entry today. I'm feeling pretty crappy and going home soon.


Archduke Francis Ferdinand of Austria was shot on June 28, 1914.

When the attendants rushed over to him, they could not get him out of his uniform." "Consequently, he bled to death.

The problem they had encountered was that they could not unbutton or unzip his uniform.

Why?

Ferdinand was a very vain main and had himself sewn into his uniform to prevent creases.
By the time a cutting instrument had been secured to access his wound to treat him, he had bled to death.

hey this is raul....no i did not googled it coz i live in a cave...the only thing thats googled here is the dishes..coz my wife is dead an the dishes is filing up..lol

I think he was probably stitched into his uniform, not planted in it. :)

I made the same error and couldn't deduct any points from my own score, so...

Father Clement was at his bedside when Mr. Terminus dictated his will. "I leave 2/3 of my estate to my child, should it be a boy, and 1/3 to my wife. If the child is a girl, I want 2/3 to go to my wife and 1/3 to my daughter."

Mr. Terminus passed on and left Father Clement with a rather peculiar problem, since Mrs. Terminus gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl.

How should the estate be divided in order to comply as closely as possible with his wishes?

It was Mr. Terminus' clear intention to give his son twice as much as his wife, or his daughter half as much as his wife. Therefore, the son would get 4/7, the mother, 2/7, and the daughter, 1/7.
