The builders of the bridge were inspired to offer a prize to the first person to fly a kite from the American side to the Canadian side. Once the kite string made the crossing, a heavier cord was tied to this string and it was pulled across. This process continued in succession using heavier cords and ropes until the first cable spanned the river.

The answer is yes.
Theoretically, the answer would appear to be no, since to move at all, it would seem the exact centre is moving in two directions at once, which is of course impossible. The exact centre of a wheel does turn since the particle in the centre of the wheel, be it ever so small, could always be divided in half and this process could continue indefinitely.
yes, cause the center will rotate upon itself.. it may do so slowly, but it will turn. The speed of trave decreases as you get to the center.. not the rotation.Quote:
