WOTPP !
Got my new glasses.
Like these, but silver stems and gray/beige earpiece, with grey Transitions lenses (clear when no UV detected) instead of blue.

But enough about me...
I have the only key to the room containing the jewellery of my late aunt, Maggy," stated Sid Shady. "Since her death a week ago, neither I nor anybody else has entered this room.
I was quite pleased to hear her will requested that all her jewellery was to be sold and the proceeds to go to charity," continued Shady. Shadow removed a huge plant whose broad leaves were turned toward the wall, partially covering the safe.
While Shady was working the combination lock, Shadow crossed the room to sit on the ledge of the large bay window. Shady opened the safe, and removed the bag of jewels. "I'm sure these jewels will fetch a fortune for charity," said a smiling Sid Shady.
"I'll bet these jewels are either fake or there's a few missing," replied Shadow.
What aroused Shadow's suspicion?
__________
Shady, who had the only key, said that neither he nor any one else had been in the room for the past week. If this was true, the leaves of the plant would have been leaning toward the window instead of the wall.
In a week the plants leaves would have turned towards the window, seeking the sun.Quote:

I'd be worried about breaking them. How durable are they?Quote:

She instructs them to raise their hand if they see a blue mark on either of the other two. The first man to determine what colour his mark is, and explain how he arrived at that conclusion will have her hand in marriage.
Each man raised his hand, and a few moments later, one of them had the answer.
What colour was the winner's mark and how did he know?
__________
Since all three men raised their hands, the winner knew that there could only be two possibilities. There had to be two blue and one red mark, or three blue marks. If there was a red mark on any forehead, the two men with the blue marks would each see a red and a blue mark and know immediately that his had to be a blue mark since all three raised their hands.
The smartest man deduced that since nobody answered immediately all three marks must be blue.

As for the drilled lenses, they have a 1-year warranty, and have all the special hard coatings and anti-glare crap available.
Love'em.
They had forgotten the Transitions treatment the first time around and had to scrap the first set of lenses entirely. Once drilled, they can't be removed but by breaking them off.
The winner's mark was blue. He was looking at a man with a red mark and a man with a blue mark. Since the man with the blue mark also raised his hand, the winner must have had a blue mark also, as the only other person that man could see had a red mark.Quote:
