Have they said on the news that they absolutely know who did this? I haven't heard anything like that yet. (but I could be deaf) Why do we assume they were even foreign? I want to hear audio from the black boxes - especially from the plane that went down in PA.

These are shocking events, just becoming known to Australians as we wake to the news reports. My heart goes out to all those affected, many in Aus will be praying for you. Any decent person will be sickened by actions like this, it seems like a disaster movie.

The Dems claimed responsibility, but they don't have the resources to carry out something of this size (so says many news sources).

I couldn't believe that this had happened when I first saw it. I woke up this morning and went into the bathroom, feeling fine. Suddenly I felt like I was going to be violently ill and my skin was really hot. I went to lie down for awhile and then I felt okay so I went to class. After class at 11 o'clock I found out what happened. The first plane hitting the building corresponds almost exactly with when I felt sick. The entire world ground to a standstill and everyone was watching it on TV. I cannot believe that something like this would happen in our country, that is supposed to have technology and military advancements to protect against just such events. There are some very very sick people out there in the world that have no cares about human lives. Thousands and thousands of innocent people died today, and I have the feeling that this is not over yet. Hopefully things will not escalate into a full scale war, but if we go out and retaliate against these terrorists I have the feeling that their countries are not going to be too happy about that and will fight back. Kymera, I would never be able to be in your position. It was terrible enough seeing it on TV. If I was there in real life I probably would have thrown up or had a heart attack. It's very scary considering that I was in Washington DC only a month ago and I once wanted to live there--I love that city but there is no way now.

Wasn't it the very first episode where the US military-industrial complex tried to pilot a plane into the Empire State Building so that a terrorist group would claim responsibility and they could sell a billion dollars worth of missiles?
Not saying I think this is true, but this is why we have to be absolutely positive we know who's behind this before calling for another twelve Desert Storms focussed on their hiney...

The only problem with staging an event like this is that we will find out who did it, and that entity will be wiped out with extreme prejudice. It would be suicide for a business to try to do something such as this...only Islamic dissidents are insane enough and have a high enough disregard for life to carry out something like this.
Well the networks have been wrong so much already that I have noticed. I'll wait until Bush says "Read my lips: No more [enter terrorist group here]" and hopefully follows through swift & just. (a rope and a rat would do for those bastards in on it)
On the subject of bio-weapons, I am not sure that an agent could have survived in the heat of the blast. They still could have delivered biological payloads, but I think they would have had to have been delivered before the crashes. We probably would have heard about that by now if it would have happened.
Maybe it was the Empire State Building's plan... But really, this seems like someone who wanted to get our attention. Some more dates:
