Question 2: TF Friday evening? I've sent invitations to inept, Carbonado, Diver01 so far. Anyone interested, speak up.
Question 3: Has anyone else noticed how the game tactics are constantly evolving/changing?
Ex.: After yesterday's game, I went to meet up a couple of contacts in Skyway. The first gave me a Tsoo hunting mission with an anti-mez device. I clicked accept, turned around, took a few steps and got ambushed by 2 Tsoo enforcers just like that.
My other contact offered an Outcast hunt. I took it, turned around, waited and looked around for any signs of ambush, ...nothing. Cool.
I spent some time looking around, scoping out other players, and then BAM!
8 Outcasts my level, including a lieutenant, jump me. Barely survived using all health and endurance inspirations and the Dull Pain HP boost power. They even followed me 6-7 blocks down away from where they originally found me. Eventually got them all, but not after I used Rest.
It was unexpected, dangerous, almost costly, but so much fun to see that this game keeps surprising me even when I'm almost level 18. ;)
Rampaging out of the tarmac, clutching buzzsaw hand extensions, cometh Buzzerbeater! And he gives a gutteral howl:
"When I'm through with you, you're going to get on your girl bike and ride home. Then you will run to your room and cry yourself to sleep on your hope chest!"
heck, i would have been peeved too, how much debt is that at your level for double death. maybe you can find a lv15 ritiki and kick his a$$ good, just to make ya feel betterhttps://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gifQuote:

kinda felt bad for booting the kid, but someone we have to explain how to be SKed is probably better off on his own anywayshttps://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif
still had a good time though, whenever we meet up like that, we probably would be better off just sticking to SG members, less hassle.
BTW, am now Lieutenant Major Blaze https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif thx ILTU (if my memory serves me right, it was you who promoted me right?? (played a little too much yesterday me thinks)
Yeah, it sucks to make a call like that, but he would have been in way over his head. Don't sweat it, I told him my son would look him up and that if I met up with him again I'd SK him and show him the ropes a bit. ;)Quote:

That means we can finally get cracking on the Phantoms of War SG for the 15+ characters with exclusive WD membership while keeping a WD presence in Ghosts of War too.
BTW, you available for Friday night'S TF?
You never replied to my question yesterday before I left.
i did respond, but you will have to log in to read ur very first email message on the serverhttps://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif if that's not good for you, then here it is, no!! can't do it, i'll be too burned to take care of my kids the next day, and they hate having half a dad present. can't blame 'emhttps://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gifQuote:

i would be available at 8pm, but seriously, at what time are we really gonna starthttps://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif we won't be set up before 8.30-9, and it will take us a little over 1am i'm sure. let's check it out, see if it can happen. it more or less has to be arranged before we get on, so we just do it when we all get there.Quote:

While I'm sure we could survive without the presence of your character, having tried one I can guarantee that you'll go up at least 1 level and get a pocketfull of Dual Origin enhancements. :cool:Quote:

1. I'm a moron. Well, I wanted to see where he was and report him to high levels in the town. Also, I thought my force bubble would protect me and it didn't.
2. OK
3. Yup. I never see it mentioned in the updates but I know what you mean. Might be a matter of perception.

Oh and as for the kid, I don't think he was a kid. 7 year olds do say "I'm 7" as an excuse for things, they get upset if you say they can't do something because they are not old enough.
Also, he already had a sidekick offer on his screen that he had not said yes or no to so we could not even make the offer. I think he was an adult acting like a doof on purpose.
You're such a John Kerry. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gifQuote:

3. Could be. Have to say I was rather surprised to see Tsoo enforcers in Skyway, behind me,... The spawning is simply beautiful in this game. I've never seen foes spawning, and only one NPC walking out of a building's pillar.
i have trouble believing he was seven, but can you really be that stoopid on purpose? seems a lot harder to fake than to be, but in any case, it was a lesson learned.Quote:

While he examines my eyes, he discovers that I have some cholesterol plaque on one of the arteries of my right eyeball. He told me it's rare for someone my age to have that. He even took photos of my eyes with this really high-tech computer camera thing that displayed my eye ball in full 32 bit color on a large 19" lcd. It was great! But it was also an eye opener *so to speak*.
Doctor told me I need to quit smoking NOW! Nobody can prove it's the smoking or my bad diet or the combo of all of the above,.. but I'm not ruling anything out. When he told me to quit smoking,.. I said, "Ok". Then before the eye photo I went out,.. had my last smoke and called it quits.
It's now been 1 full day (over 24 hours) and so far I'm doing fine. Been a little fidgety and have had some cravings here and there,.. but all in all doing well and trying to get through the next two weeks of this quitting smoking process. So yesterday at the doctor all day,.. been up in Sac all day today at a Microsoft seminar,.. and now here I am.
Lets' review:
1> I have cholesterol plaque on the artery of my right eyeball
2> I have an appointment to go see an optometrist to get glasses
3> I have quit smoking and have been successful for over 24 hours now
4> I have to see a medical doctor to get blood work done
5> I have to learn how to eat healthy food
6> I probably will have to start excersizing
7> I think this has a lot to do with me being glued to the computer, barely making time for anything else, eating only snacks, drinking only coke, smoking and no excersize. And more so than ever in the last 6 months.
Nyway,.. a new Wrbby has been born. Right now, the new Wrbby is still a little weak to temptation and a bit fragile,.. but within the next few months a newer, better, stronger Wrbby will begin to evolve. I will still play CoH. But I can't play in the heavy doses that I have been playing because I have health risks now that I am aware of and I have to spend more time doing physical activity so that I don't get worse. Right now I honestly don't know how I am going to manage the time I spend on the computer vs the time I spend away from the computer,... but there has to be some adjustments made one way or another. Just wanted to let you guys know. Wish me luck. :)
Even better than that - I'll be praying for you, bud. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2006/04/1.gifQuote:

No surgery, no removal. Just gonna have to live with it for now.
No,.. I didn't get a copy. Am I really entitled to it? They were awesome pix actually. Would be great wallpaper. :D
Thanks a bunch, for ur support you guys. However,.. I mainly posted this just so that if you guys don't see me on CoH as much you'll know I might be out joggin a few laps around the block or something. I don't want you to think I'm losing interst in it or anything odd like that.
And just to clarify,.. I definately won't be quitting CoH. Just allowing less time for myself to sit at a computer after work. But first I'm focusing on the next few days of quitting smoking,.. but all the other stuff has to follow soon too.
Anyway,... enough about WRbby's eyeball. Carry on! :D
Glad to hear you're OK and that morale is high. ;)
Good luck with the quitting smoking.
I don't know about the US, but in Canada patients are entitles to copies of their entire health records, files. We used to do that at the hosptal where I used to works with any imaging system records which needed to be seen by other specialists or for which the patient needed a copy.
You could ask - maybe even let him burn it to a CD for ya.
So. Hum. You going to be available for tomorrow's TF? :D
Yeah,.. I can do the TF.
Friggin' awesome. :cool:Quote:

If I get out of here around 7 I'll probably be in, otherwise it ain't gonna happen.
What kind of assistance do you require to make that happen?Quote:

keep "Sliverfang" in mind, scrapper, good player. he's a friend of mine and will hold his own in battle. on thew plus side...he does not have a life, therefore, he's in for the long haul ;)
on another note, i have this power, conserve power, that has an extremely long recharge rate. if i slot that thing like 3-4 times and put in reduce recharge rate in every one of them, will they all affect it? or is there a limit to enhancing, and will multiple enh. of the same kind be profitable or not?
i checked out a few sites, but haven't seen anything about it?
You can only put 6 slots on your powers, and although some of the ENH will stack and give you more benefit, there are limits to how much you can enhance some powers. In this case, you might be able to use the enhancement calculator(s) available from that Master List link I posted earlier. ;)Quote:

Sliverfang rings a bell... from the old V&V crowd? Fatespinner's other character? Have you invited him yet?
How did Faultline go last night? Intense?
went well, did 2 more missions after that, thought i would sleep but got caught up in the lveling :) teamed with some good peeps too, no morons this time. Dark Man-X was there again, might want to ask him too if he's interested-stand up guy.
sliverfang is tom's guy yes.
Faultline sounds like a cool thing to try. :cool:Quote:

Use olive oil when cooking and not corn or vegie oil, etc.
Good luck man.

Faultline was good. Decent XP and we kept moving fast which is the whole secret. Having Oinker along kept us moving and the small group meant ok xp.
yes but "conserve power" is from my primaries and it is just amazing. Major becomes a supernova when this thing is turned on, my power does not go down while it is active, and i just keep shootin'...it's freakin nuts i tell ya. the only problem is...10 min for recharge. it seems a little faster now, i have 2 DO for faster recharge. now my dilemma is: should i slot a third? fourth? will they still bring the recharge rate down?

I don't slot my Aim, Build Up and eventually Conserve Power. But I will when SO's are affordable. I don't want to waste the slots on recharge time until I can put something in that matters.
For a blaster must haves are:
Hasten
Aim
Conserve power
Build Up
Stamina
I have yet to get hasten for dynamo but will soon and stamina will be mine in so many levels or once respec comes along.
