I predict that the next poster is planning on going out of town, flying or driving, for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
false i am staying to see the grand chidren, this is the best part of life,
next person will have enjoyed the long weekend
What long weekend?
The next person loves the Autumn colours on the trees especially when the sun is about an hour off setting
Wow!You got me dead right NooNoo...I love nature.
The next person has a problem with Jello..
Yah, I dislike anything that refuses to sit still while I try to eat it.
I predict that the next poster needs new tires.
Yep! Clifford (my red Suburban) needs tires. With current pricing I can just about afford the tires, but not the gas to drive it to the tire shop.
I predict the next poster has had to deal with some recent vertical market or specialty software that requires some antique component like the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine to run, and isn't real happy about uninstalling current software to get this junk to run.
Wow! What are the chances of someone being in a situation that specific? In my case, nil I'm afraid.
I hope the next poster is in the southern hemisphere like me.
Nope. No soy Aussie, Kiwi, o Sud Americano; sino Tejano. But I didn't mean my post to refer only to the Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine. I meant programs that require old versions of software in general. Some program that needs .Net 1.1 to run, and isn't compatible with 2 or 3 or the like.Quote:

Wrong - chocolate syrup never entered my mind (too clogged with other Angelina activities).
I predict the next poster has never played a MMORPG.
Ding Ding Ding!
The next person has never played on a Wiiiii
True, so true... I have a Playstation 2 and have yet to try it.
I predict that the next poster thinks Shakespeare was over rated.
Sorry, but Billy the Bard combines the best of English poetry and drama into works that are still intensely compelling even if the interface is a bit dated. Anyway, isn't posting on a forum equivalent to playing a MMORPG?
In the same vein, I predict that the next poster wonders if Stephen King has had an original idea in the last 20 years.
Wrong. I am a King fan for the most part (only ever read one I put away after less than a dozen pages, which is actually the ONLY book I ever bought or borrowed and never read after I started it).
IT, The Stand, Salems' Lot and the Dark Tower (Gunslinger) Series are what reading entertainment is supposed to be, FUN!
Certainly, these are not cerebral challenges, but they weren't intended to be. Just entertaining.
The Bard had the often experienced opportunity to be a greatly appreciated author and playwright AFTER he died.
King got his NOW!
I predict the next poster will disagree.
i agree,King is one of the best story teller of his time,he makes an ordinary story into a very compelling one,
i bet next poster is younger then i,
hmmm, how old are you clauded?
In my heart I am still 25... I wish I was!
The next poster has a bought a load of christmas presents already, but forgot to get wrapping paper.
Not true, NooNoo! I bought only one, a book for the better half that she has been hinting about. never wrap, I buy the little festive paper bags and put the gift inside.
I predict that the next poster has been thinking about getting a new cell phone, but is putting the decision off.
Wrong......I rarely think.
I predict the next person likes boating.
True - just that boating hates me. Ruined props, stalled engines, rules against drinking even if you aren't the operator.
I dug a pond, watch the water, and no sailboats ever appear.
So sad really!
I predict the next poster thinks I am whacko! :)
Wrong. I don't think, I know.Quote:

It is my pure and virtuous heart that
gives me the strength of ten!
Red eared what???? I had dogs... lots of dogs - we bred labradors...
The next person is thinking about Ebaying some stuff so that they can have a bit more cash for Christmas.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...redslider2.JPG
Red-eared slider...
Nope, no plans to eBay anything, but do need extra Xmas cash. The oldest boy has returned to the nest, unemployed and bearing debts. Ho, ho, ho!
The next poster is planning a nice long trip for the holidays.
Nope, we are tired of long trips for the Holidays and think it would be really nice if our family made some of these 500-600 mile treks to visit us.
As an aside, this is the Year of Our Lord 2007. 2007 - 20 = 1987. Salem's Lot = 1975, The Shining = 1977, The Stand = 1978, and It = 1986. The Dark Tower V. 1 made it into book form in 1982, after beginning as a series of short stories about a decade earlier under the Richard Bachman pen name.
I'm tempted to predict the next poster has a grasp of the difference between, "in the last 20 years" and "ever", but that looks unlikely. OK, then. I predict the next poster is watching the problems with the upgrade from Tiger to Leopard, and laughing his tush off at all the Apple fanboys.
Perhaps those nice marketing people at Apple forgot to consider that a Leopard eats once a week and spends the rest of the time lolling about in a tree. So lets go back to the last 20 years... and ever.... if you are under 30, then your perception of for ever is the last 20 years.... if like me you are not, it's more like forever since I sat at home and if I wanted to talk to someone I went out to them or went to the phonebox down the road...(and let's not talk about petrol/gas prices!!!)
The next poster woke up late this morning.
Actually, I woke up early (again). Construction on the house is giving me the devil of a time.
Kings' original thought for the last 20 years has been sparse, BUT there were a couple of good moments:
http://www.veinotte.com/king/books.htm
I predict the next poster has done some wood-working project that gives them pride.
Absolutely correct, CCT! I bought a lathe a while ago and am turning out table legs and salad bowls in my sparse spare time.
I predict that the next poster has spare change that they want to roll up and turn in for extra holiday cash.
False,
I had it but then when my vehicle issues came up it became bus fare. Anyone know where to find an ultra cheap winter beater I can acquire that would last 2 months?
The next poster can't wait for the first snow. (I know I can.)
You bet, but living in south/central Texas, I've been waiting for YEARS! :DQuote:

The next poster, like me, has quite a lot of important things to do at home that have been piling up due to lack of time/energy.
That is so true! It's depressing how much I've not had time or energy to take care of...
I think the next poster doesn't enjoy loud "doof doof" music in cars.
If you mean by that a bunch of wannabee boy racers with huge subs playing hip hop... yup!
The next person is wondering why they said "yes" to helping out with a charity project.
So true... I offered to build a computer for a fellow worker here and she didn't have a lot of ca$h, I ended up "donating" quite a bit. Good karma, tho.
I predict that the next poster is thinking chinese food tonight...
True
Now I am thanks to your post :)
The next poster prefers a good book made from trees compared to a digitalized one.
E.S.P? true
i predict the next person prefers fruit over sweets
hmmm fruit or sweets, fruit or sweets... I like fruity sweets, does that count? :D
The next person still hasn't got all the christmas presents bought for others.
False
The need for glasses is a priority for me at the moment. I have a mild fear it's an early sign of being diabetic since that's a prominent thing in my family.
Next poster is giving tech related gifts out predominantly this year.
Wrong but, good luck with your health Niclo Iste.
I predict the next person knows Christmas is on December
the 25th.
Of course it is and Christmas eve is on the 24th, Hurry up santa.:)
Next poster has to work on those two day`s:eek:
ok false,
and my earlier post today is totally to the wrong question.... looks like I had an error loading the screen and I read a post from AGES ago that showed as new on my end lmao. Wee I look like the crazy nut job!
ok false,
Plus my earlier post today is totally to the wrong question.... looks like I had an error loading the screen and I read a post from AGES ago that showed as new on my end lmao. Wee I look like the crazy nut job!
The next poster isn't suffering from a horrible week of things not going right like I am.
True - my week has been a cornucopia of delicious turf and garden fruition enhanced by various and sundry delightful vinyard concoctions and topped off with Black Forest cake.
I predict the next poster prefers pie.
False, I don't care much for sweets of any kind very often.
I predict that the next poster is dreaming about eating a boatload of Christmas cookies with sprinkles.
