Official WD City of Heroes Thread

Tonight for sure, maybe this PM if I'm lucky and the wife gets bored playing her own character for a bit. I was on more than I expected yesterday. Just went around hunting for a few hours, lvled to 14 and then got "leap". So I guess what happens is, you get something called "cross jump" (a part of leap), then 2 lvls later you get Super Leap. So now I gotta wait til lvl 16 for that, which means now I'm backed up to lvl 18 before I can expect to get another fighting power. It does get a litle repetitive using the same ol' powers over and over and over and over again. Anyway, leap is pretty cool.

I'll be on tonight, but not until much later. At the moment I'm house sitting and stuck on the laptop.

Meatwad, ILtU and I were on, with Klark and even inept joining in for the fun!

Yeah,.. thats sucks I missed it. I had a ton of stuff to do today. I'll have to catch next episodes action. I'm glad you guys had fun though.

Inept should "tell" me next time I'm on so I can add him to the SG. Whats his character name?

Next stop is lvl 15. We can add to our character name. Like, "The Ultimate Jamez Hetfield" or something. You'll see. It's cool.

Whoa! I just thunk of a really cool idea. I'm not even sure if I or anyone else here would be into this, or have the energy for it,.. it's just a thought for now, but wouldn't a comic book based off of our SG be groovy? I'm picturing: Photoshopped screen shots of all of us in action for the panels. Then they could be assembled into an interactive flash page thing. People could click "next page" and stuff. Some writing could be done to form a story behind it. Hmmm.

Inept's character is named "phantom aura", without the quotes, but ILTU already added him and Klarg. We showed him how to use the SG colours for the group pic. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif

I treid the suggestion of geting the GF into the game and I thought she was going to have a heart attack trying to get used to all the controlls and the 3d interface. She's a console gamer and likes crash bandicoot, spyro and the like and not 3d games on a PC. So that crashed and burned like a lead baloon. Darn, I'd have happily gone broke getting a new machine for her to play with us too. :sad:

On a positive note, we should give inept some Inf so he can afford some decent enhancements early on. INEPT - when u see me next I'll get Miss Dynamo out and give you some loot.

W should all take some Inf. from our higher levels and trade it to each other. Makes thing a lot easier.

I like that idea. Throw me a tell if you see Buzz online and I'll get you some XP. Same goes for anyone who has family or friends that play the game.

I can say that I really appreciated the boost you and meatwad gave me initially (and even now), and I did the same in turn with inept yesterday by giving him 2000 inf. Meatwad even assisted my son when he was on, so he gets an official WOTPP bonus sticker. :cool:

The camaraderie and solidarity is a great thing asset in this game.

Heck, I even handed out free inspirations to lower level characters last night after all you ladies left. :p
