Never leave home without one (have a spare in the trunk).
Life would suck without it!! LOL
I don't think I know anyone who works with PC's that DOESN'T use one!
I'm guilty to! I've used 'em forever
Can't live without them. My current favorite has a built-in light and an extension tip that reaches out another 18" for that screw which escapes to the bottom of the board or even better runs away and tries to hide under the desk...
I use 'm too, im not even going to ask who doesn't because i figure its been said enough. heck, ive found that using them on hard drives doesn't even do anything to the data on them.

The only time I've damaged anything with a magnetic screwdriver is when I beat the holy hell out of a HD with the handle.

If you make it idiot-proof, someone will make a better idiot.
You too? Got an otherwise dead HD to spinup more than once over the years...
Magnetic all the way baby. The amount of magnetism on your typical screwdriver isn't enough to really do any damage, as long as you don't leave it sitting on anything magnetically sensitve. Though I have seen a magnetic screwdriver kill a cdrom drive... But that was b/c a cust tried to install their own CD rom, got frustrated and stabbed the screwdriver through the cdrom and case... Probs can't blame that on the magnetic tip though...
I got two, One I keep in the trunk , the other on my workbench, both are Panasonic's.
Ive used various brands these are by far the best.As long as you keep a clean workbench, you should'nt have any problems

Magnetic without a doubt.
