The credibility issue is interesting. I personally tend to give more credibility to registered Users with a high post count, mainly because I remember reading their post previously & being impressed with their comments. The flip side of the coin is Users like myself that are "stumped" more frequently than they have an answer for another user. Simply put, most of my posts are pleas for help! I try to contribute also, but regulars seem to answer most questions pretty quickly.

About first issue...
I'm also have the dream to create similar site. Now my site is under constraction.
There is list of information I want to put on :
- drivers (links to drivers pages and library of old ones or for discontinued products). How many of us spend lots of time having to find any information and drivers,BIOS for unknown or discontinued products? I want to create data base with this information, where every techies can contribute and share with information they have in their personal collection.
- BIOS upgrades (not only for newest models MoBo);
- Manuals for new and discontinued products;
- of course, link to this and similar sites and forums;
- Technical news;
- Similar forum; Also forum about repairing/restoration works with PC hardware, copy and office technics. I have seen lots of these forums in Russia. So, I want to create similar international forums.
- download pages with tons of usefull freeware and shareware utilites, writen by Russian, Ukrainian and so on programmers. Some of them I mentioned on Windrivers. I know lots of that sites in Russia and Ukraine (like www.download.ru and www.ixbt.com ).But they not available for You, because most of You don't understand Russian. Similar situation in my country with English sites.
I found, what some of Russian-located branches of MB manufacturers www-sites contents even better information,full list of manuals, newer BIOS. Example - Lucky Star's www.lucky-star.ru .I even help someone at Windrivers to find newest BIOS upgrade,that wasn't available even on main corporate www site.
- documentation on electronic components, common used on MoBos, HDDs, Monitors etc.
Have anyone of You electronic circuitry for brand motitors, PSU,printers, copiers etc.? I have seen lots of these things on Russian sites.
Nothing to say, very usefull things for peoples, who actually working in repair shops.
About second issue...
I believe,what most of You are REAL techies,
even being unregistered. So,I respect EVERY, even wrong opinion. Probably I'm also made some mistakes.
Usually unregistered visitors asked for help, so, why not to help them? Really, I cann't understand peoples, who're not registered, especially who are posted often on Windrivers. It's can be done easily using "anonymous" e-mail like "[email protected]" or similar.
But honestly saying, I especially respect techies, who're posted full and true information about himself in post "Answer this question without BS".
Listing all names would be unfair for someone,who are not done it yet.

Well you can check out www.drewber.com, im onmly posting aswnsers to he questions i receive, as far as drivers, windrivers will always be the best. But there are things windrivers lacks. Any one here ever tried typeing /con/con on a command prompt window in 95 or 98? /con/aux works too. How about echo Device=c:\cdrom\cdrom.sys /d:drewber >>c:\config.sys (Some people love to delete edit.com for some reason)

As far as high posting numbers go, Many of my posts have been questions. I try to answer as often as possible, but sometimes I look over the discussions and I see a question that has been fully answered by 9 or 17 posts and my answer is already covered 4 or 8 times in the list of answers, so I do not bother posting. Maybe I should post anyway just to boost my numbers.
Is there a benefit to posting an answer that has been mentioned 3 or 4 times previously in the same thread?
