Well,
Ive resolved my bad crimping issues, and have played an Hour long LAN game without any troubles.
Everything seems to work fine.
Gollo.....
The crossover cable would potentially connect directly between the TWO STATIC NICS. ie...NO HUB.
Secondly, I can enable Microsoft Client/Server on the Static NIC side, to share files, but keep One PC isolated from NET.
IF if want the second PC to connect to NET, I shut down both PCs, Power Cycle modem, and Boot the PC with DHCP. The first PC to boot, gets an IP.
I would ICS, but I dont really care, and I like to run my PC clean as possible, to get most performance from old technology.
Thanks to all again!
