I personally wouldnt spend £350 on a watch, nor would I spend serious money on a serious video card.

However if you were to post that you found your dream video card at 75% off and managed to get sweet revenge I would be very very happy for you and congratulate you without reservation.

Thank you. An true honest apoligy was all we wanted. We were just attempting to bring to light how your actions were offending people, and we were attempting to correct that. I wasn't attempting to start any type of war or get you to leave.

I also need to apoligize for my part in the situation. I should not have gotten involved, but the post simply rubbed me the wrong way. I'm a pack a day smoker, and havn't been able to smoke the last few days due to some surgery. The medication I'm on also has made me pretty irratable. Though that's not an excuse, it's the truth. I usually try to stay away from such threads, because I'm not a confrentational person by nature. Again, I'm sorry for promoting that thread, I feel like my posts blew up a situation that wasn't going to be such a big deal. I took matters into my own hands as opposed to asking Sowulo or other mods to step in. We're not asking for you to leave, just be more cautious as to how you post. To be more aware of other's feelings when you post. I accept your apoligy, and I hope you accept mine.

No problem. We all played a role, but what it boils down to is if I hadn't posted in the first place, well, there wouldn't have been any repercussions.

my apologies confus_ed...I edited my scrolling remark. I e-mailed xgavier to apologize and ask if he would delete this thread...so hopefully this will get read before he does. I've been under a huge amount of stress lately and I won't suffer you the details because it all ends up being an excuse. Truth is my drinking has gotten way out of hand. I didn't even remember the e-mail exchange with xgavier 'til I checked the Forums this morning. :(

I'm going on hiatus for a while from WD. Get back to my music...see if I can come up with something with NooNoos' lyrics. I'll still check in from time to time, but until then...

This whole thing has never been about who would spend what on a watch. That point is totally irrelevant. The whole point, is the negative connotations that the post represented like I've said before. It just pisses me off when someone can't say something positive to someone else. Is it so hard to just say something encouraging to someone? I understand that nobody's perfect, and we all have our off days. I've posted negative things plenty of times. But when it's common all the time, then that's when it starts to be a problem. Wasn't this site designed with the sole intention of "helping" others? Am I wrong about that? And everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion. Simply posting "I wouldn't spend that much on a watch" comes off as a derogatory. A more positive way of posting that might be, "I would never spend that much on a watch, but I think it's really great that you found a watch that you like."

Anyway, that's great that you posted an apology here gxavier. I hope I didn't come off as trying to bash you in that thread. If you notice, my original post asked questions. I posted, "Maybe you're just having a bad day?" in that post. I'd like to think that I give everyone the benefit of the doubt because I always hope that people will do the same for me. Anyway, that's pretty much all I have to say about the whole thing.
