actually the prom is in lansdale ( suburbs )
Aren't I a nice guy? :D
hmm id suggest .. .. what i did on my prom .. have a good time .. drive all around .. if you wake up the next day and dont remember it .. then it was great ... just avoid the action .. theres a time and place for it ..
(i still cant believe your only 17)
Just relax be yourself, Have a ball, When I went to the prom we went to the Grad night party at Disney Land. But if you do go partying after 1. Be nice, 2. Be careful,
3. Heaven forbid but if you must drink, DON'T DRIVE! 4. Treat her like a Lady!,
5. If SHE choose's remember no glove no love!
Have a Great time!
Not a whole lot to do in Lansdale but "cruise the strip", and it ain't much of a strip. If you are that far out already, why not head to New Hope? If you've never been up there, it is pretty cool.Quote:

Have a Blast just go with the flow of things CD.....
probably gonna hit a friends party afterwards and spend the night there.
Don't worry I don't DWI.
I hope all goes well :) and I'll see if I can get some pictures up afterwards.
Hey, I was going to go to Sr. Prom too. But I figure with no date and being 30, I would probably get arrested.
That was going to be my suggestion. Don't know what your relationship is like, but be prepared for what may happen even if there's only a .011239% chance. If you aren't planning on that kind of activity, then kudos to you. But if you're even harboring some remote hope, then for heaven't sake BE PREPARED with the proper safety equipment.Quote:

CD, here are some things you should not do on a first date. http://www.networkdating.com/articles/datingdonots.htm Hope this helps.
Just remember the basics, Get the door for her, even if she insists. Buy the prom Pics for her,(spendy), Don't have a mind set off any expectations, Women have a sensor and they seem to know what you want and then they don't give it to you. :D
Try not to dance with other girls unless you've wrecked the date *reflects back to senior prom*(We went as freinds and we only danced once together) :(
Try to do something to make it memorable not only for you but for everyone in your party.
"Wrap that rascal"
Be a gentleman. There is still room in the world for us guys that open doors, and stand when a lady leaves or returns to the table. Listen to what she has to say and remember to make her feel special. This is a special night for her. I also have to agree with the no drinking and driving the concequences can be terrible. My 16 yr old daughter was lost in a driving accident. We never think it can happen to us or ours. Have fun and make it a night to remember.
Be yourself. Don't put on an act to try and impress her. Then if she likes you, you will know it's for the right reasons.
I have that covered , in more ways than one :DQuote:
