The XFL had to go, but I think the NFL should adopt their pay scale. Then maybe those guys would have some motivation to play!!
You must have seen some great highlights because for the most part, those guys sucked!!!! I got tired of watching a lot of dropped passes the first week. Gave up on them like everyone else.Quote:

Maybe if they didn't have camera men in the huddle, and the sideline interviews it would have been different. But it was too much. He should have went a little more gradual in approach I think. No fair catches = cool. Whatever you feel like on the back of your jersy = too much.
Ancient History now. Another failed football league. Think the NFL meets wrestling. Think ratings failure...big time!!! NBC's made a lot of bad choices lately and this is just more icing on the cake.Quote:

God knows there is nothing more mundane then watching golf on television. :D
I used to bowl professionally and hated all the rules about having to be so damn quiet....Now the fans yell and scream and funny thing, the scores haven't gone down. As a golfer I always thought it would be a lot more fun playing if you could razz your friends and try to distract them during their swing.... :D
A striptease during half-time would bump up ratings. Too bad they didn't listen to me.
Truethfully, I never watched an entire game. It's not that I wasn't interested, but I'm usually out partying on Saturday nights, and it's hard to try watching the game at a crouded, loud bar. Football was made to be watched on Sunday when you feel like complete sh@t because you drank to much the night before and you spent $100 at the bar.
Never really got that one. Heard them talking about it, but I think I tuned them out. I would think those guys would want their actual names on there so people would know who the hell they are.Quote:

I think Budweiser did that as a commercial a while back (the series were two guys wanted to watch different programs, then they hit the TV with their beer bottles, and get some strange combination of the two.)
Full Contact Golf! The golfer tees off, and gets tackled by a wave of football players. :)

I could just imagine that!! A golfing version of Basketball. :D
p.s. Dang cobra werent you jsut at 1k posts earlier this week? :) hehe
I thought it was pretty funny how they thought football could be better if they threw a camera in the locker room at half-time. I could be wrong, but I believe it's mainly dudes who watch football. And if that's true, then why the hell do they think football fans want to watch half-naked, sweaty football players in the locker room at halftime? I didn't get that at all. Instead they should've gone into the cheerleaders locker room at halftime. That would've kept me interested...
Yep, out of the few hours I devoted to watching XFL, I have to say that jersey is the most memorable thing.Quote:
