Remember to ****e before you leave the ground...
I just remembered that my freshman year of school in English, I sat next to an old friend I hadn't seen in a while. He told me that over spring break he went to the beach and went skydiving. The crazy thing is.....that was the FIRST time he'd EVER been in an airplane.
Papa Smurf! You there?
Hmmmmm.....
  :(

Awesome! Sounds like a lot of fun. I've always wanted to go skydiving, just haven't gotten around to it yet...but it's on my to do list.
I went indoor skydiving a couple years ago and it was alright, but I'm sure nothing like actual skydiving.
Good luck!

Yup I'm here. I jumped, I fell, I pulled the cord, I slowed down and then I landed.
I raised over £5000 the for Kids ward at the hospital. But I admit the kick I got out of the whole experiance was something else. I am seriously thinking of doing this more often. Damm what a rush
Cheers

Well I had 6 hours training about how to jump and land. The plan waws to go to 10,500ft jump out and freefall for 35 seconds and then pull the cord at around 4,500ft. I was not too keen on doing this but I had 2 instructors jumping with me at the same time to make sure I didnt make a dent in the ground.
Once the place ut 10,500ft I was told I could get ready to jump, While sitting in the plane I WAS scared and even thinking about given up. I stood up done a safety check of my kit, gave the thumbs up and threw myself out the door.
The moment I was out the door I was thinking "Smurf what the hell have you done..you are going to die" but after 3 seconds the adrenalin kicked in and I enjoyed the reset of the freefall. It went by so quick before I pulled the cord and then had another 5 mins of a nice easy decent to terra firma.
I landed without any extra loads or skid marks in the underware area [I was surprised as well
:D ]
But I admit it, I am hooked on the whole area of jumping now, Its a blast and I recommened it to anyone one.
But I even this has helped myt in future missions as I know now covertly jump behin enemy lines in the for revenge attacks on the Goldenyeye kid and more importantly in Operation Smurfberry.
Cheers
