Hotmail, but learn to use their filters very well, tunr the junkmail protection to high and then make your own custom filters ti filter out the major spam keywords. Sorry mods but the ones in my block list are:
Sexy
Homeowners
Buy
XXX
Horny
Mortgage
Cash
Teen
etc.
Just go through your inbox when there are lots of junk mail in there and see what you have the most of.

Another vote for Yahoo! mail, but it seems they have recently revamped their privacy statement that automatically turns on a bunch of junk mail until you shut them off. Just double check your own privacy policy settings once you sign up.

they are only charging for pop forwarding, the basic e-mail is still free.

When onebox decided to start charging, I thought I'd give TheFreeSite a try for basic webmail, been OK so far. It's everybody.net, no spam yet.

As of the 24th they start charging. This means that my yahoo account will now become my spam account. Everybody have a spam account? I used my spam account for signing up for crap like classmates.com or adobe registration or realaudio registration... Mine used to be on hotmail and I would get about 50 messages a day. I didn't check it often enough and they closed it.

Heh, got a spam yahoo account. It reaches capacity in 2 days.
