Hourly, 1.5X overtime and an extra $5/hr if I choose to work night shift (Which I never do but is still a nice incentive.) I get 2 weeks vacation, 2 personal days and 1-2 weeks sick time each year plus all holidays. M-F 8am-4:30pm
They call it salary. I call it a modern version of endentured servitude! Beats not having a job and the pay isn't horrible.
Salary. Make my own hours as long as I get 40/week. Full benefits, 2 or 3 weeks vacation..I can't remember. Not bad for a Sys Admin.
Salary. 50-80 hours per week. Since I'm co-owner of an engineering company, I get paid after everybody else, if there's anything left...
I get paid salary (sucky pay considering I do the work of Three techs and also head of IT)Benefits (none unless I pay for them and they don't pay me enough so I can afford them). Vacation 1 day for every month worked. 40 hours a week monday-friday
730am-430pm sat and sunday off.(only thing good about this job) Currently looking for a better job. Looks like I need to go to where Macgyver is. I like Canada, but the Wife hates the cold.
Salary: Co-Owner of Village Technical Consultants
and Village Computers.
Hours: when I arrive till when I leave,
most of the time 9:00am till 10:00 or 11:00pm.
plus Saturday & Sundays in the shop every other
weekend.
Salary, I'm the local Mister Fix it for a mortgage company. I'm just doing this til I finish school. I just bought a house and got married within the last 2 months. I'm 23.
Hourly, 40/week, holiday pay, 2 personal days, Sick pay, 2 weeks paid vacation. But I don't make all that much and my company is losing client left and right...
Salaried - and I would not have it any other way. I work for a cheap skate company that does not allow OT under any conditions. They will drive you and drive you and drive you harder and harder to get your work done inside 40 hours. The only way around that is to go salary. I have the freedom to basically come and go as I please, as long as my projects are on schedule and my tickets are caught up. My boss is not a stickler for punctuality. Plus now that I have VPN access to the corporate network, I can work from home some of the time. WOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOO
