Mean Mollusk? I can tell you that "Bracius" dates back before "Latin" was ever devloped. The origins of "Bracius" dates back to the Brac clans of Bracus, back before Pangea split. They spoke mostly jibberish and died quickly as they could not warn each other not to eat the blue berries.

Don't really have too much of an opinion. Truthfully, I say let all the animals be unless you're loving them. I understand that some people would say rodeos are cruel but I imagine that some people would also say keeping animals in captivity is cruel and I shouldn't be doing it. If these people wanna raise animals to tie up their nuts and see 'em go crazy, well... atleast I'm not forced to watch it. And that's the reason I don't have an opinion (or so much of one.) I love pretty much all animals just because they're neat. They're all like little kids and I enjoy spending time with them. That's the reason I keep so many animals now and will continue to do so in the future. What my neighbor does to his animals, short of torturing or killing, should be none of my business if I don't have to look at him. My $0.02.

Aha! I knew there would be something in this thread worth getting into a fight over!!! :D :D :D
BTW, shouldn't the plural of Bracius be Bracii? :D

Rodeos are cruel
matadors are cruel
and really if the animals are mistreated they should be banned from existing but on the other hand
zoos and circuses are cruel too apparently
( but how else does my kid see a live elephant as I cant afford a african safari)
the animal rights issues of the new century are quickly gaining in popularity from all the greenies (after the fires here "greenie" is a dirty word here in aus) and do gooders on their soapboxes preaching to the masses about animal rights....
I say somewhere there is a happy medium.....a nice even balance........
I'm sick of the exteremes and extremists

Yeah, I was hoping that the disclaimer at the start of the thread would prevent members from straying from the topic or keep people from acting like a 12 year old. It's all good,[Mr. T voice] it's just jibber jabba and I pitty da fool [/Mr. T voice]. Also the answer to your question is NO. It's Braciusing, it's going to be the new hip slang word of the century.

I have a question here and I am not trying to start a war and once again I am not an extremist....but what makes one think that humans are special.....what makes one believe that the human race has more rights than the other creatures on this planet...the way i see it is yes humans are top of the food chain now... and here but that could change sometime.... just imagine cats could be number one.....and do you think that a cat in charge would care how a human was treated.....anyway just a thought to ponder on........
and spaceman after 4 kids and one on the way...well my mirror says I hve a teeny weeny right to feel a leetle jealous of her mesmerising bouncing jumblies..
mine do not bounce... I call them my airbags ...and only hope that they will inflate in case of emergency...........

Hehe, I cant see her "ASSETS" Im to busy watching the "jumbilies" :D :D :D

ok...i was a bit hasty i guess (in my old-fart mood today). let me say this...i don't hunt, but i won't stop you if you do. i don't go to rodeo's but i understand the attraction. i like animals and would never intentionally hurt one. but it galls me when some of these activists assign human traits to animals.
i have never cut down a tree but i certainly wouldn't lay down in front of a bulldozer to stop someone from felling a redwood (makes some damn lovely patio furniture).

PETA - People Eating Tasty Animals
Never been to a Rodeo but I've seen Bull fights in Spain and while it's exciting watching a bloke nearly get his head off ( ) it still lose's it's appeal when they kill the Bull (after they spend 20 mins letting it bleed to death). We put a different scale on animal life though, who here goes fishing and takes their catch home? That could be said to be cruel as well. Personally I think people will always want to see games/sports which some people would say are cruel to the animals involved.
