Good luck dude, I really like the paintball idea, red paint will convince them for a second that they have actually been shot and are bleeding... you could also put curry or something in it to increase the "god DAMN that stings" factor. Also, the paint will mark the bastard so you know who it was with complete certainty. Just don't shoot for the eyes or you may be in more legal trouble than you want to deal with.
What if you slept IN the back seat of the car with a paintball rifle or maybe a baseball bat? Would it wake you up if an egg hit it?

sorry for the late update ive was up since 2am, nothing happened, i did see a rabbit run acrosse the lawn. but thats about it. i had my stereo kind of loud so every time a plane past by my house it would magnifie the sound and sound super loud in the basement. but nothing, nothing on my car, nobody near my car, just cars drove by. hostiles where not visible
taliban kids did not attack.

journal entry 2
there is a good chance taliban kids will strike during the weekend. going to buy a 10hr. tape today on my lunch break. but this is the setup.
wireless camera upstairs looking down at my car.
camera reciever downstairs in basement connected to a 6 head vcr. vcr connected to a sony home thearter doply digital reciever.
since i dont work on the weekend im going to stay up longer and be ready to run out there when they strike, if its a car driving by throwing crap, the car has to stop next to my car to throw the stuff then i can run out and get plate number.
if its a taliban kids then i would have to secrety follow then after they throw stuff at my car and find out where they live.
to cold to camp outside, fastest access to outside it through the basement, also basment has a side door where you can run out unnoticed.
going to try to fix my other vcr for i can set up a second camera looking at a different angle.
war has begun.

It would be way cool to set up a camera INSIDE the car! Way cooler if you caught them and turned the tape in to all the local news stations!

that is actually not a bad idea , i would need some kind of power adapter to connect to the car.
i actually tried to do that before when i had the corsica but i guess the corisca couldnt spit out enough juice to give the camera power.
not sure if it will do the same i have a truck now, they have bigger batteries.
hmm but would that kill my battery the next morning?

A battery only provides enough juice for you to start your car. Once it is running the alternator can provide enough power to run something continually like a phone charger or laptop...
Personally I think you are better off forgetting about the whole thing. Lets say that you do find out who is responsible. What then? Any action you take will likely result in retaliation on you 10-fold, since they know where you live.

On Retaliation: MacGyver has a point. Kids love wars and you will have to handle this carefully unless you want to be in one.

well MacGyver i tried to forget, this has been going on since last year. i have parked my car in the garage, also i noticed egg on my garage door. i should be able to park my freakin car infront of my house, i am not taking anyones B*llSH*t. if its stupid kids doing it i will contact there parents and make a police report and show the parents and the police the tapes. if they keep doing after that they will end up in juvinal jail. or i will take legal action and make up crap saying they messed up my car and they will pay me alot of $$$$$$$$$$$ , im sure there parents would hate to give me free money. or get a bill from a shop, i have friends that work at car shop they can create any reciept for me.
if its a friend doing it or somebody i know. i will not take legal action, i would do the same 100 times worse.
i will not stop till i find out for sure, i will not fail i will over come, i will be victoruis.
also i think i spelled victoruis wrong.
oh well
MacGyver this has been going on for to long it needs to come to an end. i will not let this slide.
