Except in 2k, my gaming performance takes a huge hit. Was on the order of 50% in some cases though I'm not sure if that'll be true with my 8500. Though that is an interesting alternative if the performance of it is up to snuff.Quote:

Just read some on Toms Hardware, and he also says that the performance hit was very low when he setup his RAID 0 with 2,3 and 4 drives

I have never had a problem RMAing a drive to anyone, ever. Seagate seems to have a long turn around but nothing to complain about. Heck, I even got quantum to RMA a bigfoot drive from a compaq that they were not obligated too. I was new at that shop and all the boss said was to RMA it but did not say to who. LOL!Quote:

They quality of the drive isn't so much what has me annoyed, as I do accept that from any manufacturer you will occaisionally have a defective drive. What pisses me off is how poorly they run RMAs.
