Yes Flowers are a good start...
Lets see a dinner either made or bought and arranged nicely by candleight with some nice smooth tunes and you getting on your knees looking deep into her eyes telling her how beautiful she is and telling her how much she means to you and that you will try to think more before you speak... Something to that effect. Taz kinda always gets me back on track at not being mad at him anymore. :D

Why is it the man that is always to blame? Why is it the man that always has to buy the flowers, leave the notes, do the majority of the spontainous things? Men and Women are inherently different. Albeit, if the woman brought home some flowers or something for me, I would appreciate it BUT --- I'd prefer a new scanner. I guess I'm just more for practical gifts.
If you were in the doghouse and brought home a new... hairdryer... I don't think it would work as well. As a matter of fact, she'd probably think you were saying she has bad hair!
Sometimes it's just easier to go with the flow that has been this way since the beginning of time, than to buck the system and get hairy palms.:eek:
Will she be home already when you get there? If not, set up something for her when she gets back - whatever she likes to drink, have whatever TV show she loves on TV, something for her to put her feet up on, give her a back rub, etc.
If you are coming home with her already there, and entering potentially hostile territory, I hate to agree with the herd, but moooo! Flowers are hard to beat.
Does she email? Sending her an email or an IM with a heartfelt apology/I love you as well just before you get home can add to the cumulative effect.
For me, the most important thing I need to remember is to come home inthe right mood... not to back down about what upset me, but to NOT freak about it, all that will do is create more fights.
Scheduling some "her" time can work, too. What does she like to do?
Do you have a poetic or artistic streak you can focus towards her?
