This is true, no windscreen.
...and if the wheels don't lean, why would they bother using motorcycle tires............
So, we need wider wheels, a passenger compartment, a stereo would be good.... Hmmm, think I've worked out some sketches.....

What do you think? could it work?
The wheels would have to lean in a turn. Additionally, the article said each wheel is on an independent suspension, which adds more weight to that conclusion.Quote:

And as I recall, someone said this thing would do almost 400mph, the article says:
"The 1,500-pound Tomahawk can reach 60 miles an hour in about 2.5 seconds, and has a theoretical top speed of 300 mph"
No wonder we are all freaking out. 300 sounds a little more realistic, just as crazy, but realistic...
Its a typo on their end, not sure about what though.
some more facts:

this is where it says the 400mph:
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/030107/80/dhzjw.html
"Tuesday January 7, 01:29 PM
Dodge introduced its Tomahawk V-10, 8.3-litre (505 cubic inch) concept motorcycle at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 6, 2003. The superbike features independent four-wheel suspension, and its engine, borrowed from the Viper sports car, can propel the Tomahawk at speeds of nearly 400 mph, according to Dodge. Also says it on another page in yahoo..
I believe you are correct, they made a mistake with the 400mph. However I'm sure that it can hit at least 350.
You're talking about a viper V10...
btw the bike better be 1500 pounds, because anything less and it won't stay on the ground. well maybe they could shave off 200 pounds tops.
a sick bastard like me would try to put a turbo or a supercharger on it :D
ur right.
a sick bastard like you would try.
but a crazy bastard like me would.
:)
The body/chassis is billet aluminum... 1500 lbs is what they say it'S weight is.Quote:
