Ooooooh !  I think you do this on purpose to wind folk up ....
So far you've told us spybot is spyware .... then realised that was pants .... then you said it broke your harddrives and the only way to fix it was to go into bios and change drive settings from 'user' to 'auto' well I've news for you Auto is generally accepted as the correct setting .... more pants .... then you told us that spybot doesn't work with windows and they admit it .... no they don't they say it won't work with a system that doesn't have all the patches ... they even tell you which .... then you pick up on what I said about the definition file having a problem, which is also in the programs own faqs, and start with that ....
I said all three spybot, adaware and spy sweeper were running on machines in my office for testing .... I said so far spybot seemed 'best' .... as in stability, speed, install size & updates, allowing for the definition file which was detailed on their site, unlike all the probs I had with earlier versions of adaware ....
The only problem I have with all three is how the hell do you actually decide what they are doing is correct ..... all you can do is make a comparrison between the three and see what picks up what ... but when one says its found something and the other two don't - how do I know whether that's true or the work of the Iraqi Information Minister ..... https://forums.windrivers.com/
