If you got that much spyware and ad-ware install, I recommend you backup all important files and just do a full reinstall (format and reinstall) the system. A clean start. Before you install any software, ask around if it got spyware/adware before installing. It will save you the trouble.

Having discovered what I have, a full reinstall would make a lot of sense. Unfortunately, I am doing this work for my cousin and she and her software are a 100 miles away. Oh well, this has certainly turned into an educational experience.
