Woohoo, I finally got edited. Yes, I'm a bit lacking in sensitivity, sorry. I'll try to place nice from now on.
 I promise.

What in the hell is the deal with the number??
I love to hijack a thread as much as the next guy but it is too early on a monday morning to have curisoity side tracked by pets.
Oh...I have a great dog, Austrialian Shepperd/Rat Terrier mix, smart, fast 12" tall and can do a standing jump of almost 6'.

I don't think there was any pain, and her last breath was in my hands so I think she knows she was loved till the end.

It's nice to make a difference even if it seems like a small one...Quote:

I took her out and dried her off and held her till she settled.
An hour later I put her back on top and she started eating some seeds, so I though all was alright.
Early in the afternoon I prepared her feeding and she was all stiff but still breathing.
I took her in my hands and she woudn't move but she "peeped" at me.
She died in my hands five minutes later while I was crying like a baby.
All afternoon...and I cancelled working...I regretted not warming her up further and making sure she was alright.
Geez, the regret and the feeling that you could have done more!!!
I feel like crap now, and all day as well.
In fact, I spent the whole afternoon online in the forum trying to keep my mind off of this.
Gosh, it hurts sooo much.
The other birds were quiet all afternoon, too.
They heard my cry and knew something was wrong.
But damn, do they forget fast.
Sometimes, this world makes you wish you were a bird, flying free with no worries other than...
shoot....I'll have to remember not to post after a good time with the girlie....I just don't care about anything else......Quote:
