Weather Thread: What's the weather like where you live?

We had 5" of snow on Friday, then an additional 7 " on Saturday. That's the storm that went onto the upper East Coast and dumped alot more snow (some areas got 2 feet). Temps were really cold. Today, we are going to be in the 40s.

The extended forcast for Seattle is:
Highs - mid fourties
Lows - mid thirties
RAIN - today through July 5th

Think I'm kidding?

Well, after several days of temperatures hovering in the -20F range, it has warmed up to -3F. It could be a really cold winter, as we had -40F for Thanksgiving.

The tough part is the dark, as we are down to about 4 hours of daylight.

This is the time of year when John Q. Public goes inside and screws up his computer.

tack on about 10 degrees and you have my area!!! Oh and only on the high end it's been cold at night!!! WE also aren't getting the rain/snow. Everytime they predict snow it doesn't show up or only 3 of the 13 inches forecast show up!

It's a big state from north to south. Every winter at least once since I've been here in SW Florida (which seems more like your type weather) it gets down in the high twenties and we get frost.

I'm still clinging to the notion that Florida is supposed to be warm, I went out on Saturday night in shorts and a t shirt. Did I freeze my :butt: off? You bet I did, but its the principle, I moved here for the warm weather and I'm bloody well going to be summery all year round. Besides, any time I need to warm up I can go and listen to our local council bitch and moan at each other. :D
