Actually, there was no one, zero, at most of station. Just just happen random. Went to the station, open door, close door then leave, all in the few minutes. But other time, it just wait and wait and wait (and no one around). I did see the driver coming back in. Bathroom?

Umm Jules dear, stops are pre-planned. Trains stop to a timetable, regardless of the number of people waiting or not.
Read my post again about how to catch a train that is a through train or an express train.
