Err dudes ... the whole thread is a JOKE ! ...you know as in funny ha-ha, bit of 'self-effacement' (that's taking the p out of yourself !)is good for the soul ... lighten up & have another beer/'smoke'/other relaxation :)
Yeah, well you aren't the absolute brain donor that thought, hey, lets finaly defrag my machine after I didn't even rebuild it after it had been in production for about 2 years and I have had it for 9 months. After 6 hours it was time for me to leave work and it was at 50%, luckily it was done this morning.
So I get brain donor award for yesterday!!!! :thumbs2:
Come on -ed, we all knew you didn't break your own PC twice in one week! You're too good for that! I think you were being modest! I say three of four times, at the least...I know I have broken my own at least that many times in the last week. Eh...who needs Uncled Bill's help...we are our own worst enemies...or is that enema's?????https://forums.windrivers.com/Quote:

Through 3 motherboard swaps and ~20 months I've managed to keep the same XP install on my machine. I'm just too lazy to install all the apps again and it still runs like a new install
Does downtime include the time I eletricuted myself by sticking a screwdriver in between two pci slots with the machine off but the ps still on count? I was down for a bit after that. Luckily I remember the event so it sticks in my mind so I dont do it again.
Usually my downtime is usually caused by an upgrade. Like my current upgrade of a mouse killing my PS/2 ports on my XP machine. See here if you want to help. http://forums.windrivers.com/showthread.php?t=44003

I usually break my machine about once a week :p
My really bad one was when I wasn't f'ing thinking about what I was doing and ended up losing the entire contents of one of my laptop's hard drives.
That's the worst. I have been much more patient since then.
