By the way... if the motherboard is able to boot, you can see at the bottom of the boot screen text string with information regarding BIOS - actual model name of your motherboard should be inside that string...

Can't boot--it has no RAM. It has 2 DIMM slots. What kind of RAM would it use? Would it boot with RAM, but no mobo drivers? The BIOS listed on the links are made in 2001. The mobo has AMIBIOS 1999.

From memory, PC66, PC100 or PC133 will work in this motherboard, I advise you keep it to 128meg sticks at a maximum as I have seen alot of problems with 256meg sticks in these boards and earlier. Also, you don't need mobo drivers to get this powered to test it out. Just a working CPU and some ram.

Windows 2000 / XP should have all the drivers for this motherboard - although I think the sound is CMedia 8330 - drivers can be found URL=http://www.cmedia.com]here[/URL]

It is the m755LMB(the only one with an ITE chip), and found a manual:

"For this mainboard, you must use 168-pin, 3.3V unbuffered SDRAM memory modules. If the installed CPU uses a 100 MHz system bus, you must use PC100/PC133 memory. I would recommend PC-133 - then you can use any CPU...
(just only make sure it is branded memory stick), good PC-133 works fine at any speed, including 66Mhz. I have been using Infineon and PQI PC-133 memory sticks with similar MB (SIS630E chipset). Tested with Celeron 500 (66Mhz) and Celeron 800 (100Mhz) - works fine...
As long as you're using good memory, shouldn't be any problems... Besides, in BIOS should be options for memory timing like "Mem CLK=FSB+33Mhz" ,"Memory CLK= FSB", or "FSB-33Mhz" (my MB has special hardware jumpers for that), so it is possible to adjust memory timings for reliable work...

If it is the m755LMB, how large a harddrive can it take? Would an 80GB work?
