How about this,... You post reasons why 10 of those are wrong. Then follow that up with one reason why I should vote for George Bush. If you can successfully do that, then I will agree to your terms.Quote:

At this point, with the information available to me, my personal choice is slightly pro-Bush. I agree with the decision to intervene in Afganistan. I approve of intervening in Iraq, though it was never about NBC weapons to me. I heavily disagree with the deficits we are running. I disagree with his proposal for the no gay marriage amendment. So on and so forth. Comes out in the end as Bush in 2004. Unless Kerry gets far, far more specific on the issues in the coming months, I can't see myself voting for him.
Keep this in mind, please. I don't care who you vote for so long as you do so well-informed. Presidential election is about finding the man who is the best (or more accurately, least worst) fit for the country at that time. Don't let peoples opinions sway you, find out what a politician actually stands for and vote.

So since you were not able to post something in your own words, then your two links have just as much integrity as my original post. Both contain words and facts from an outside source. Again,.. you can take as much in as you like, but ultimately the truth is what YOU choose to believe. You want to believe that Bush is a quality leader? Then thats fine,.. thats your opinion. You can rationalize arguments supporting his success all you want,.. the bottom line is that I DON'T AGREE. I'm looking at the facts, not a bunch of longwinded news articles opposing or defending him. I look at the video of him sitting there doing nothing as the secret service agent tells him we're under attack. I look at the how the unemployment rate is sky high. I look at how we have troops in Iraq dying for George Bush's crusade. I look at how many days George Bush was on vacation in the beginning of his administration while Al Quada was planning to attack us. I look at the kid in the classroom who asked Bush what his favorite book is and he replied, "I can't remember the last book I read." When I see George Dubya Bush, I see a guy who was a cheerleader in college.Quote:

Actually, I didn't use google. I used Snopes and factcheck.org. I found both links at snopes. I don't believe Bush is a quality leader and I don't believe I will ever see one in the Presidency in my lifetime. I do think he is slightly better than Kerry so far, but that could conceivably change.Quote:

I thought it was a private Cessna or somesuch. I'll reserve judgement on Bush's actions until someone tells me what that agent whispered to him.
5.7% unemployment is hardly sky high. Hell, economists will argue whether 5% is the lowest average you can expect to see over any length of time.
If you don't approve us being in Iraq, more power to you. I can respect your opinions on this, and in some ways I agree.
I doubt the President is ever really on vacation, at least in the way I think of the word. He was on his ranch, but he can't just ignore his job for a full month.
Edited to add: I'm done for the day. Essentially defending a politician this much in one day has left me feeling ill.
I too am done for the day,.. especially since I have to go to a wedding in a few minutes. But I do have some things to add.
After thinking about it for a few minutes, I can see where you're coming from Jaeger and I can respect that. You're stance seems to be, vote for whoever, but take the time to look at both sides of each argument before making a decision. Ok,.. I'll give you that. That's both mature and makes logical sense. However, I do have reasons for posting the things I post (which I'll have to get into a little bit later when I come back.)
Hi there,
Hey, didn't you know all every single human on this planet, no matter what gender, age, color of skin, are all fundermentally stupid. What's the one thing that is common to all of us. :)

Keep your opinions as your owm, vote according to your conscience and have enough decency not to purposely seek out new ways to antagonize those who disagree with you.
Hey - that felt pretty good! https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif
I agree but political discourse of a factual nature reflecting the honest differences between citizens is the linchpin of Democracy. Without it we are left with soundbites and advertising presented in 20 second television commercials.
I also cast a vote for civility.
Hi there,
a d e p t, you're right...
Well, if you want a idiot runing your country with X reasons how he got that job. If the US screws up and mess up everything, don't take us along with it. We got nothing to do with it.

Then shut up and stay out of it, nitwit.Quote:

They talk about it, tell their story, etc. Sure there are plenty of jobs that these people could get. That is,.. if they are ok with demoting themselves like I did and work in retail or fast food. I mean at least it pays the bills. Unemployment rate sky high? Yeah I believe it.Quote:
