It actually finds 61883 in alot of different places when I click on "Find Next"
For example: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{7EBEFBC0-3200-11D2-B4C2-00A0C9697D07}
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\1 394\A02D&10001\2718D9001888000

So I should delete all of the entries with 61883 on it? except for my
MyComputer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentContro lSet\Enum\PCI....right?
I would export them ALL and delete them. Export them to a place you can find easily like c:\dvcamreg\thiskey.reg
That way if the worst happens, the keys can be put back in repair mode.
System restore should be off for this, otherwise it will helpfully put back what you removed.
No success man...I deleted the folders in its entirety that happened to show up with the 61883...and also the folders that didnt have 61883 (these happened to show up when I clicked on "find next"...I didnt see 61883 on it, but i deleted them anyways since it showed up on the search). Also, there were two folders that showed up with 61883 search, but I could not delete them, It said it was unable to delete...access denied. Any ideas?
What are the keys that refused to delete?
Looks like we are getting close.
It refused...but then when I went back to look for them again....those two folders didnt show up. NOw, when i type in 61883....there are no files showing in my registry. Now what? It still gives me the error. I feel like its getting close.

If you put in the model number, it may find it, or it may not, often windows uses the series rather than the actual model. You shouldn't have too much jvc stuff floating around in the registry.
nothing is on the registry with jvc...or jvc gr-dvm75
So you don't have the capture software loaded. Have you got the jvc capture software or are you using pinnacle or premiere?
no capture software loaded...just pinnacle studio 8....
I do have capture software...they're not installed at the time being
