Cool, I play both - like you say easier to pick up acoustic and get instant results rather than plug in. I find acoustics help with fretting strength/finger accuracy. I went through a stage of only playing acoustic for 7 months, then picked up the Explorer and almost bent the strings off the fret board.... :p

I agree about the accuracy/strength thing. Electric is easier in some ways, but less forgiving at louder volume. :)
