I think they send these guys out to fill quotas. The train station I use to get to work has a 1/2 mile access road w/ a 15mph posted limit. 800 cars/day and nobody goes less than 30. Couple fridays ago they had a blitz and starting pulling everyone over. (I didn't get hit but I heard about it.) Last year I got a ticket for having an expired inspection sticker (by a week) while my car was parked in that parking lot. They're just sending 'em out to raise money.
Going 25% over the speed limit? Residential area?
Get over it Spork, you were in the wrong.
Damn, I forgot. Ranting and raving is not allowed here.Quote:

In my experience, 20mph zones mean someone lives here. If you run over a kid because you were going too fast in a residential or school zone, a ticket will be the least of your worries.
Have a nice day :)

That darn cop!
Holding your foot down on the accelerator like that, unbuckling your seatbelt and hitting the snooze button one time too many on your alarm clock. :D
That may be true yes, but the stretch I was on had complete visibility from all sides, (except the cop at the far end of the turn.Quote:

Have a crappy day :butt:
I always drive over the speed limit. Even down residential streets, I'm doing at least 30 or more. I'm very aware of what's on the road, whether it be a dog, child, person, squirrel, parked cars (even though they are secretly cops), whatever.Quote:

So, anyone see the lastest "resisting arrest" beating on the news? Eight cops and a steel flashlight.
I like when the police spokesman says, "We are reviewing the situation."
Hey, for $180, I will talk jive to a cop too! You got to get SOME sort of satisfaction for that kind of money.Quote:
