I beg to differ. I just got back from seeing it. Batman was bascially nothing compared to this. Batman is an afterthought compared to this movie. Count me in to the "see it again this weekend" club.
When I got out from the movie, me and some friends were standing there talking about it and stuff, but I was just drained from the intensity of this movie. I was mesmerized and speechless. Awesome movie. Just awesome.
Guess again. Burton's first Batman was great for one reason only - Jack Nicholson.Quote:

Once again, J. Jonah Jameson steals every scene in.
This is definitely the best comic book adaptation to film ever. The train fight between Doc Ock and Spidey was just flat out awesome, especially the immediate aftermath. Batman didn't have that much action and drama in the entire movie, let alone one scene.
Raimi's Spider-Man owns Burton's Batman.
Seen it last night. Great movie- Dr. Octopus was very well done
The train scene kicked a$$.
This one was definately better than the first
I just read Spidey 2 took in $40.5 million on opening day.
The best before that was ROTK at $34.5 mil.
Not bad for a Wednesday.
Well I doubt it, but it will be 6 or so months before I see it, as you can bet your *** after last night, I am not setting foot in another theater for a long time(unless someone can find me a quality 21 up only theater)
Alright, I'll bite. What happened last night ?Quote:

Well, I actually got out to the theater last night. Had to replace out two switches last night so afterwork I went and caught Harry Potter to waste the three hours I needed to wait.
Definitly never going back to AMC. Ok, so it used to be the case that maybe half the popcorn in the popcorn things were pre-poppped, well fine be that way but it was still warm and some of it was fresh. That **** was still good, and they did a good job of buttering it, fill half way butter, then the rest then finish the butter. Now they just keep old *** prefilled bags and you add your own butter. The last two times the popcorn has been cold and stale. And foget getting butter on more then a quarter of your popcorn.
Picture and sound? Forget it, I get better at home sitting on my couch.
Yeah, I know it was a childrens movie, but what the ****. The one row I pick always has to be the one some brain dead **** sits on or rigt next to that brings their 3 year olds. ****ing idiots, those kids are too small to be in a theater. Thanks for having some ****ing rugrat running around and making noise the entire time. Last night the father didn't even care that it was a movie, just picked up the boy, talked to him, blew rasberries, encouraged the little ****.
Unless I can find a good 21 up theater, honestly I think I am done going to the theaters.
ROFLMAO !! https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gifQuote:

The theater I go to has a zero tolerence policy. If a someone of ANY age acts up they get the boot. End of story.Quote:

Spider Man 2 was worth the entire peripheral experience. You could have lit the theater on fire during the train sequence, and I wouldn't have noticed.
I have to agree spiderman 2 kick some serious a$$. I thought the ending was quite suprising, doing something that has never happened in any of the spiderman comics or shows that i've seen or read. great movie.Quote:
