Cant shut down my computer

Adept gave you instructions to roll back the driver to see if that is indeed the cause of the problem. Worrying about your fps and graphics quality is something that can be done when the root cause of the problem has been defined.

I can use my computer normally I only get the error when i shut down my computer.

you do realise you can install the driver again after you rolled it back?

It is very hard to troubleshoot without seeing your system and without your co operation.

aight man sorry about that I am going back to the default windows drivers now.

I tried, I went to roll back to default drivers and it said that they have not been backed up. Should I download them some where?

I think you need to provide some more detail. Like what is the problem you are experiencing that makes you feel the need to roll back, and what device is giving you the problem?

The short answer is probably yes...downloading a more current driver may correct your problem, whatever that may be...

I thought that you told me to roll back to the original drivers? To see if that would fix it. What do ya mean what my problem may me? I have a blue screen error that pops up when I shut down my computer. I posted what the error said somewhere not sure if ya need it again just ask me, thanks for all you help hope ya aren’t getting annoyed at my ignorance I am just little confuse what to do.

NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 I just got them off the web site for NVIDIA, I followed what it said and I guess all xp/2000 drivers are the same for the FX cards

OK, and did you roll back... you must remember that ya_know was answering out of context without the benefit of your other posts.

Please roll back and test whether you get the blue screen or not.
