Why do you need to stick with a Ford?

Besides the Vette, we also have a 2000 Mustang bought in 2003 and it is THE LAST FORD I WILL EVER OWN. I hate that car with a passion. I don't get on my soap box very often, but when it comes to the little Muskrat car........ It gets terrible gas mileage 19-22 on the highway with the AC off and it's a V-6 w/automatic trans, with the AC on between 30 amd 45 mph it surges in and out of overdrive (I know now why they put that little overdrive override button on the shifter) needless to say I can't run the AC as much as I want to, and your butt is asleep after driving about 75 miles. It has the most uncomfortable seats of any car I have ever owned. I am looking forward to getting rid of that car ASAP. I have changed the plugs, fuel filter, had the computer checked, trans checked, alignmenent etc and no-one can explain why this junker is behaving like it is AND I hope you never have to put anything larger that a grocery bag through the opening in the trunk. I have to haul most everything either in the front seat ,or if it's a semi flat box that won't fit in the trunk and I have a passenger, the back seat. Ford.....Found On Road Dead...Fix Or Repair Daily.......F'n Old Rebuilt Dodge are all true statements with this car. Mustang=:flame:
I was lookng to buy a Focus ( its not that bad u know), in US$ about 14,000 with most of the options.
Well it's down to the wire every one :
Mustang 2004 Convertable - Air, Cruse, Power Seat, 6 Disk CD
Ford Focus 2005 ST - Air, Cruse, Moon Roof, Heated seats, 6 disk MP3 player
Mazda Protoge 2003 - Air, Auto

Is the mustang a v8? If so that's my choice. If not, I would go with the focus, but see if you can get a better price...25k canadian is like $19000 US...still seems very high even fully loaded, especially with the mustang only a few thousand more.Quote:

I am wondering if the roll bar is legal for NHRA use. You would need to use a certain type of pipe for it to be legal. Some have used thin wall muffler pipe to make a roll bar for the same look. Just curious. :thumbs:Quote:
