In doom 3 it DOES go significantly faster, hence its a good chance that anything made with the doom 3 engine (probably going to be alot) will run better too.Quote:

So finally today I found some actually available in the UK (having been looking/asking for about a week on & off for someone), been as rare as rocking horse pooh here, at pretty much the same price, infact the 6800 ultra is a bit cheaper than the top x800.
& yup once you get above 1024x768 in Doom 3, there is a definate edge for Nvidia over ati with the new ranges.
So anyway Rad you must have done something with it by now, or has it not turned up yet ?
