Are you sure that board will support this? As I said in the other thread, an 810 won't support Tualatin, right Rus? And, there is no P3 1500 as the highest was the 1400. The funny thing is those boards shows actual CPU's speed/name if you're flashing BIOS downloaded from ECS/PCChips... So, I would assume it's someone's hands work, that "XP1800" BIOS...
There were a lot of BIOSes made for 810 chipset, and far not all of them are compatible. Each of BIOSes is made for specific board... So, flashing wrong BIOS may be fatal for the board...Quote:

well, even an old BX chipset can support Tualatins (not officially, though ;) ). It's just only matter of voltage regulator and the Socket 370 pinouts... (can be fixed ;) )
By the way, motherboards supporting Tualatins, cannot work with Mendocino Celerons... Even more, using Mendocino Celerons can damage voltage regulator in those boards... At least, I've seen personally few MBs damaged after that...
So, his motherboard cannot support Tualatins (because he has already Mendocino Celeron installed and working right now)...

Guys who changed the BIOS probably changed only text messages... It is possible - I did it myself using some hacking tools... For example, for changing BIOS string messages for your company name, change Award Logo for your company logo etc... Don't remember name exactly, though - last time I used it was few years ago...
Also BIOS Patcher I mentioned many times has also built-in an option to change that BIOS string so any CPU you're using will be shown under the same name (P4-4000, for example :D )...
