Yes, we have met, and I respect him.
In fact, I started a thread a while back about an old timer "hall of fame" sort of speak, and welcoming back old time members who have left, for whatever reasons, and he checked in. One of the few btw.
So, what is your point?

I only had a post or two deleted, so can I join?

Actually it was a thread I started several years ago, (I can't remember the topic) that unfortunately was HORRIBLY taken in the wrong direction by a few members. When saw what had become of it, it had well over 100 replies IIRC. Most of the replies were pretty lewd and trashy. So the forum software used back then allowed a member to delete their own posts. If the post you deleted happened to be the first post in a thread, then the entire thread went to the bit bucket. Not wanting to be associated with such behaviour, I decided to delete my own thread. I wasn't very popular with some people after that, but I didn't care. I just wanted that thread gone and that was the quickest way to do it.

I think I remember that one, and I don't blame you a bit. I'd of done the same.

Not too many people here would remember that (thankfully)
