Hello All,
I'm the new Managing Editor of WinDrivers and wanted to get acquainted with all of you. For the past 4 years I have overseen all of the Jupitermedia forums as well as several sites. Now I have the privelege of being the Managing Editor of WinDrivers. I have just taken over the reins and haven't had a chance to post an announcement.
I can see there are some children in here who like to call people names. I will not resort to that. I will be working to ban such people from these forum so we can get on with the business of solving computer problems and generally helping each other out.
In the future I look forward to building the community into something we can all be proud of. Thanks for your time.

Is the word "wanker" not offensive in the U.S.? I'm assuming not because if it was as offensive as it is over here you'd be looking at more than a week fishboy.

It's not as common as in Europe, but the meaning is still offensive.
