We would have to ask my Grandfather (who was the 1st born in the US in 1900) what Gramps was sayin'. My Grandfather knew just enough Gaelic to know when to give his Dad a wide berth. I often wish now I would have listened more to Gramps and picked up more of the language. I recognize it when I see it or hear it, but only pick up a few words.
