Is your Graphics card running hot? It might be showing a pic, but it could be overheating. Cant think of anything else. Sorry.
And for Dual Channel, you do need to stick with same stick, exactly, else there will be problems, its nothing to do with old MB's.
The problem has been fixed. All I needed was to get some good Thermal Paste because my stock Thermal Pad didn't exactly work up to specifications :rolleyes:
Just wanted to say thanks for all your help, I really appreciated it.
Now does anyone know why I can't get my PC to boot from the CD-ROM? Because when I'm in BIOS I change it so the PC will boot from CDROM 1st, but then when it reboots, it doesn't load anything up, so I'm confused.

Do you have the cdrom model number?
Exactly how is it connected? Is it secondary master?
Actually I don't know about the secondary or master, all I know is that I can get it to boot from the XP CD and start to load Windows, but it stops because now it doesn't find a HDD.Quote:

Time to look at your build and tell us what ide device you put on which channel and how they were jumpered.

The drive is also over 137 gigs, so what version of XP are you trying to install?
