Can you ask what model? At least what year he bought it with the tuner in?
he dont know what model but he got it 2yrs ago.
but i think i have to have windows media center 2005 instilled as my brother had it instilled when he had it working.
Yes, you need to have some sort of capture program, windows media center provides that functionality... or you can use a number of other programs of this sort. A free one is at www.virtualdub.org

The driver didnt work on Windows media center. But I decided to download my program that I was using on my old computer (Intervideo Home theather) and with that program the card worked :D only problem I have no is that I have no sound but I think that can be fixed when I look at it ^^
