The USB drive adapters are sweet! Just be careful shopping, because not all are
are created equal. Some cheapies had laptop drive connectors that aren't keyed, and some brands seem to have issues being correctly detected by the host computer.
I bought a Newer Tech and it's perfect. The manual states that IDE drives should have the jumpers set to "Master" when used with the unit, but I haven't found it necessary.
