Cool, House! Outside of a single visit to Acapulco about 50 years ago, I've never been to the Pacific side of Mexico. Juarez, Nuevo Laredo, Taxco, Monterrey, Saltillo, Cozumel, and others, but never PV. In fact, it strikes me that most Texans visit the interior and Eastern seaboard of Mexico, while Puerto Vallarta is a big draw for Canadians and Northerners. Why is that do you suppose?

Yes it was, unseasonably so. Most of the Mexicans working in the resort were wearing heavy clothing. Some were even wearing ski jackets.

This was my first real visit to Mexico, apart from the better part of day spent many years ago imprisoned in an airport holding lounge in Guadalajara, while Air Canada tried to figure why their plane wouldn't start.

I have no clue. But your observation would seem to be correct. PV was full of Canadians, mostly from BC, Alberta, and Quebec.
